Voice Commands geven aan teamleden in Hints/TipsVia een 360 headset kan je orders geven aan je teamgenoten. Dit moet wel luid en duidelijk gezegt worden want je teamgenoten willen vaak niet luisteren. Zokan je tag gebruiken om te laten zien welke vijanden je teamgenoten eerst moeten doden maar kan je ook dingen als "Move", "Hold" en "Assault" zeggen. Voor een volledige lijst kan je de handleiding raadplegen. De commando's moeten overigens in het Engels worden verteld.

Tips hoe je alle achievements moet unlocken in Hints/Tips1. Sniper: 10 kills using a sniper rifle in an online ranked match (15)
Make a ranked online match with max players 2 and get your friend to search it. Set equipment to a sniper rifle and kill your friend 10 times. NOTE: If you kill them 10 times in a row you will also get the Killer's Spree and Killer's Rampage Achievements.
2. Marksman: 100 total player kills in any adversarial mode. (10)
Either just participate online alot (Ranked or player) or have your friend join you,set time limit to the longest possible and kill them 100 times.
3. Killer's Spree: 5 consecutive player kills without dying. (20)
Create a match and get your friend to join and just kill him a bunch of times.
4. Killer's Rampage: 10 consecutive player kills without dying. (30)
Follow steps for Killer's Spree.
5. Demolition Expert: Kill 50 players using Explosives only. (20)
Again you can do this with a friend or you can just participate online alot and get it legit.
6. Special Operations: Play all maps of every Adversarial game mode. (50)
Play them all with your friend. You should both get the achievement.
7. Siege Specialist: Leading contributor of kills for the Defenders in a winning Attack & Defend ranked match. (15)
Set game time to 3 minutes and be on the defenders team, invite a friend to be an attacker. Kill them once and you will get the achievement when the match is over.
8. Survivor: Be the only remaining player in a ranked online match of Survival. (15)
Set up a Survival match with your friend and kill them.
9. Lone Wolf: Most kills in a ranked online Sharpshooter match. (15)
Set up another ranked match with a friend, time limit 3 minutes and kill them.
10. Team Survivalist: Most kills in a winning online ranked match of Team Survival.(15)
Get some friends together and kill them.
11. Team Champion: Most kills in a winning online ranked match of Team Sharpshooter.(15)
Same idea as most of the other achievements. Set time limit to 3, and kill some friends.
12. Hostage Rescue: Rescue all hostages in an Attack & Defend mission in under 5 minutes. (15)
Set map to border town and time limit to 5 minutes. Invite a friend to be the defender. If you Rescue both survivors before the end of the time limit is over you will know you have the achievement.
13. Bomb Expert: Defuse the bomb within 2 minutes in Attack & Defend. (15)
This one is very easy. Set map to LVU Campus, invite a friend to defend, set time limit to 3 and if you've defused the bomb before 1 minute is left you will know you have the achievement.
14. Infiltration Specialist: Recover the Intel in Attack & Defend within 2 minutes.(15)
This one could be more tricky. Set map to Calypso Casino and remove all armour to increase mobility. As always, invite a friend to defend. If you know the map you will have no difficulty with this achievement, but if you are unfamiliar with it you may get lost. Set time to 3 minutes and keep trying until you get this achievement.
15. Hazmat Specialist: Deposit the canister and kill an enemy canister carrier in the same Retrieval match. (15)
Set Kill House as the map and have the game set to retrieval and time limit 5 minutes. Invite a friend to be on the opposition, get him to carry a canister and kill him,then deposit one yourself.
16. Master of Ceremonies: Host a 16-player match. (15)
If you have enough friends that own this game who are willing to help you out you could just invite them all to join you. Otherwise you could set up a match and hope enough people join. If you leave the room open long enough it should fill up.
17. Best of the Best: Achieve the rank of Elite.(40)
Set up a ranked match of sharpshooter with one of your friends as the opposition and kill them as much as possible. Repeat as many times as is necessary and you should eventually rank up. You willrequire 675,000 total points to reach this rank. This achievement is probably the most time consuming and could take a few days, so make sure you return the favour to your very patient friend.
18. Officer: Achieve the rank of Lieutenant 2nd Class. (20)
You should get this while going for the Best of the Best achievement. You gain this rank after 172,000 points.
19. Basic Training: Achieve the rank of Private 1st Class. (5)
You should get this achievement no problem. Just keep playing online until you have a total of 3,000 points. You will get this on the way to the Best of the Best and Officer achievements.
20. Tour of Duty: Cooperatively complete all Terrorist Hunt missions. (60)
You can do this in split-screen or over Xbox Live with a friend. Pretty self explanatory.
21. Vegas Champion: Cooperatively complete the Story Mode. (50)
As above. Just play through the story with a friend.
22. Co-op Hunt Novice: Complete a Cooperative T-Hunt mission with at least one other player. (10)
You will gain this achievement whilst going for the Tour of Duty achievement.
23. Co-op Story Novice: Complete a Cooperative Story mission with at least one other player. (10)
You will gain this achievement whilst attempting the Vegas Champion achievement.
24. Tough Hombre: Completed Border Town in single player Story Mode. (30)
Play through single player story mode.
25. Dam Buster: Completed Nevada Dam in single player Story Mode. (30)
Play through single player story mode.
26. High Roller: Completed Calypso Casino in single player Story Mode. (30)
Play through single player story mode.
27. Street Cleaner: Completed Downtown Vegas in single player Story Mode. (30)
Play through single player story mode.
28. High Climber: Completed Vertigo Spire in single player Story Mode. (30)
Play through single player story mode
29. Hell Hound: Completed Dante’s Casino in single player Story Mode. (30)
Play through single player story mode.
30. Rainbow Six Legend: Complete the single player Story Mode at Realistic difficulty.(100)
It has been said that this achievement cannot be earned if you have already attempted Story Mode on Normal difficulty unless you play the entire realistic difficulty through in one go. However, if you have already played on Normal, just delete the Rainbow Six Vegas checkpoint saves from your hard drive and you should be able to attempt this as the game will think you haven't attempted it at all.
31. Executioner: Kill 500 terrorists online or offline. (30)
You will earn this whilst doing all story mode and T-Hunt missions. Just kill terrorists.
32. Pistoleer: Kill 150 terrorists using only a Pistol. (25)
Just switch to your pistol and play through T-Hunt a few times.
Alternatively, this achievement can also be gained easily when you are playing through the first story mission. When your team is kidnapped you will be left with just your pistol. If you keep rushing in and getting close to the waypoint and then dying, You will return to the part where you wake up with your pistol. Repeat a few times as the kill count is cumulative and counts even if you die.
33. Equipment Specialist: Used all Gadgets at least once in single player Story. (20)
Just use each of the gadgets at least once throughout story mode.

34. Veteran Hunter: Complete all maps of splitscreen Terrorist Hunt on Normal difficulty. (50)
Although the achievement says do T-Hunts in split-screen, it doesn't work if you do. To gain this achievement you MUST work through T-Hunts in single player mode. I have no idea why they put split-screen but make sure you complete in single player only.
35. Elite Hunter: Complete all maps in splitscreen T-Hunt at Realistic difficulty. (75)
Same as Veteran Hunter except on Realistic
36. True Identity: Used the Xbox Live Vision to create a character with your appearance. (30)
Pretty self explanatory although some people are having problems with this. If you're just after the achievement and you dont care about playing as yourself I suggest you search "mugshot" in google images and print off a front and side view. Just take photos of these and it should work. However, if you are wanting to photograph yourself expect to try many times before you get this right. You must ensure that your chin and top of your head are touching the red lines on both images and that all facial features and ears are visible. Also do not wear glasses or hats. If you have long hair just tuck it behind your ears for the side picture otherwise it won't work. -
