Ontwikkelaar Saints Row 2 niet bang voor GTA IV

Volition, de ontwikkelaar van Saints Row 2, heeft gezegd niet bang te zijn voor de release van Grand Theft Auto IV. De twee games zijn dan wel concurrenten, maar Volition zegt met Saints Row 2 een andere ervaring te brengen dan Rockstar met GTA IV:

We wouldn't be releasing this year if we didn't think we could be competitive The only thing I know about GTA is what I've read. From what I've read it seems like they're going in a more realistic direction. For us it's more about almost a hyper-realistic quality, over-the-top, all about these memorable moments.

Volition haalt de coöpmodus van Saints Row 2 aan als belangrijke factor waar de twee games verschillen. De game staat gepland voor eind dit jaar.
