1. Umineko no Naku Koro ni

Re: Umineko no Naku Koro ni

Genre: Adventure
Developer: Alchemist
Releasedate: 16-12-2010 JP

Ryukishi07′s opus, Umineko no Naku Koro Ni, returns once again for a console release. Entitled Umineko no Naku Koro ni ~Majo to Suiri no Rondo~ (うみねこのなく頃に ~魔女と推理の輪舞曲~ When the Seagulls Cry ~Rondo of the Witch and Reasoning~), the visual novel will be released in Japan for the Playstation 3 console on December 16, 2010. The port will cover Episodes 1 to 4 (Legend, Turn, Banquet, and Alliance of the Golden Witch) while still being faithful to the original visual novel format.

Major differences from the previous PC version includes a full HD experience, and full voice acting featuring all the voice actors from the anime, while having all the original soundtracks from the PC game. Character designs have also been revamped to a “cleaner” look compared to the original game.

No word from the publishers for an international release. Considering Japan’s gaming trend, an international release is less likely possible. For now, enjoy the gallery of screenshots and art below, courtesy of Famitsu. (More screenshots found there)
